From beginning to end my experience was incredible. Starting with my first contact…I must have bugged him 5 times with questions. Each time he was kind, so helpful & professional. The shuttle driver greeted me like an old friend, she was funny and I felt immediately comfortable - she was great! Housekeeping…I was having a bad moment, I had tears in my eyes from a personal conflict. She asked me if I was all right, she hugged me - a total stranger, she hugged me. It was exactly what I needed at that moment in time. How could she have known? In business-like hotels, you come into contact with many people and how the client is treated is so important. You never know what client has had a good day or a really sorrowful day. The staff has the ability to make more of a difference than they get credit for; just by simple acts of kindness to a stranger. Your staff. were all professional, approachable and I was particularly impressed by their willingness to go above and beyond their duties. From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you to everyone. You all played a role in caring for a stranger and you’ll never realize just what it meant to me. Prices were great; the amenities outstanding - can’t be beat! I was majorly impressed!

We enjoyed the stay at your motel. One of the best maids we have had in a long time. She always checked to see if we needed anything when she saw us, even in the hall, even if we had our ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door. We appreciate the fact that the pool and hot tub were always clean.

Very Comfortable and well run hotel. The bed is especially comfortable and the comforter is just the right weight and warmth. Good pillows, décor is quite pleasing. Your housekeeping staff does an excellent job. “Best in class” in my opinion.

The gentlemen that came to our room to fix our problem was very courteous and very helpful. I wish I knew his name so that you could pass a compliment on to him.

At check-in it was determined that my room had been given to someone else with my same first name by a new front desk clerk the day before my arrival. The employee was outstanding in his efforts to resolve the problem. Extremely courteous and apologetic…kudos to him! Excellent acknowledgement and courtesy at check-out in the morning as well. Great staff!

Thank you for being a clean, friendly and pet-friendly hotel. We chose Wingate because we thought it was the best value, closest to the friends we were visiting, easy on/off highway access and allowed us to bring our pets without some big drama. Thanks, we’ll be back!
